Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!

Another year, another vintage!

The latest Beaujolais, first wine of the harvest, vinified by a quick & easy method called carbonic maceration, arrived in Seattle last night. At Maximilien in the Market, they served the Georges Duboeuf, on the pricey side at $14 a glass, alongside an assortment of small plates, including raclette ($10, much more reasonable).
