When you have three stores, at Alki, Redondo, and on the Columbia in Portland, and you pull down $37 million a year, you’re obviously doing a lot of things right.
Gerry Kingen is the guy behind Salty’s, which does more business at Alki alone than any restaurant in the state except for the Space Needle. The weekend brunch (notable seafood selection: oysters, Dungeness crab, Alaska crab, shrimp, mussels, salmon, etc etc etc.) is $58 on Saturdays, $63 on Sundays. Worth it? You better believe it.
